Unlocking the Meaning of Memories: Writing Creative Nonfiction as a Way to Understand What Happened
1-part workshop
Thursday, February 26, 6-8 pm
Our lives are filled with moments, some of which stand out more than others. In this workshop, writers will learn how to go beyond the basic diary entry to discover the deeper reasons why a memory is meaningful. Using examples from published works as well as in-class exercises, participants will be encouraged to tune into sensory detail and their internal experiences in order to capture—and better understand—life moments, big or small, in meaningful ways.
Cost: $15. Registration is required.
